Mayam Tasks API Documentation

API Token

The API token serves as a means of authenticating a client application with the server, allowing it to perform API calls. Note that this is separate from user authentication. An authenticated client application will be granted full access to the Mayam Tasks system, as exposed by the API.

The tokens, by convention, takes the form of app:random. The app part will be added to the logs and should uniquely identify the app but preferably be 5 characters or less. The random part should be over 10 characters.

API tokens are requested from the local Mayam Tasks systems administrator who will add them to the file in the api.accounts section.
